This descriptor came from the Knowledge and Understanding section. This was coupled with a descriptor from the Process and Production Skills portion. ACTDEP016 aligned well and left scope to further build on the skills of the students. This descriptor calls for students to select and use materials, components, tools, equipment and techniques and use safe work practices to make designed solutions (ACARA, 2014).
